Good night honey. I love you so much. I really hope that everything goes the right way and that you are home sooner than later. It was great talking to you tonight, and so interesting listening to the response of other inmates to the debate. So interesting. Were there any Kamala fans?
Tomorrow we have orientation for the homeschool co-op. I’m glad we get to do that for a little while.
I’m trying to think of what else to say… sounds like the Kamala team wants another debate- kind of interesting.
It started raining tonight- why do I love the rain so much?! I think it’s so comforting. I also love how refreshing it is. I just love the smell and feel. It’s also nice having a greener lawn :). Our lawn is actually looking pretty good right now. I need to do a little more seeding.
Ben got home from swim- I asked him how fast his running mile was, that he timed the other day. He said 5:24. Crazy huh. My mile was always in the 8’s …LOL. I was never a fast runner- maybe because of the legs flipping out thing :).
School is going good with the kids. I’m glad that homeschooling is so fun for me/us.
I talked with Elise while she was online playing with Fisher today. I guess she is quit the hit at the school. The lady she is substituting for is coming back in a little bit and the kids in the class are not having it. I guess one of the kids stood up and said, “let’s take a vote. Who think Elise should stay, if you think she should say ‘yay’, now if you think she shouldn’t stay, ‘nay’. We all agree, she should stay”. I was laughing so hard. Sounds like there’s a mutiny in the making. It sounds like she may get a permanent job as a science teacher there, for as long as she wants. So… we shall see when she heads off to start up college again. Working there has definitely solidified her desire to work with kids. Pretty cute.
